Mission: Annual training starting in 5th grade, students to assist celebrant during Mass and other liturgies and to be role models for participation. Formal training sessions take place each fall with remedial sessions and extra preparation, as needed, for special Masses such as Christmas and Easter.
Readers/Lectors, Eucharistic Ministers and Ushers

Mission: Assist during Mass as Lectors, by reading (proclaiming) God’s Scripture during Liturgy of the Word. Extraordinary Ministers serve by distributing the Eucharist and hospitality before and after Mass. Ushers take up collection and presentation of financial donations.
Ministry to the Homebound

Mission: Serving homebound parishioners who cannot get to church but still want to share in the Eucharist and in the parish family and enjoy time in prayer, being visited and conversing about everyday matters. By becoming a Eucharistic minister or visitor to the homebound, you can positively impact a fellow parishioner’s life.

Mission: A welcoming presence when people arrive at our church door for Mass and other special events. Greeters are ministers of St. Rose who share the light of Christ with all who come to the church.
Altar Guild

Mission: is to help make our church an inviting place of worship. Individuals and families can participate by signing up for a week of service that includes washing & refilling holy water bowls, disposing of spent floral displays and preparing new ones, light cleaning as needed (dusting, tidying up pews, etc.) This service is usually performed on Saturday morning or early afternoon. In addition opportunities are available to participate in the setup and cleanup of special displays for Advent, Christmas and Easter.
